  • Flushing Optical rips you off!

    I had the most unbelievable experience today.
    This was the same place that where I had waited for almost half an hour before someone helped me. There is just a counter full of glasses made of glass, and them behind it. Nowhere to hide and they must have seen me.
    Today was going to be the same except the boss lady just happened to walked by and asked if I was being helped. Duh!

    Anyway the girl who helped me had the balls to give me a disclaimer as she was filling out the paperwork for replacing me lens. Something to the effect of, "Do you know there is a chance that the lens will break the glasses when they replace it" and when she saw that I wasn't buying this nonsense, she added, "but it has never happened before". I just said to her "well if it breaks, then I don't have to pay you right?" No comment from her as she just took my credit card. I'm willing to bet if I was any other race they wouldn't have dared to say such a ridiculous line just to try to make me buy a new pair of frames. Which if you think about it, is the same process as me replacing the lens on my current frame.
