  • Intrepid

    It is finally back. Caught it today as it was going up the west side. She returns after being away for renovations and repairs. It is an old aircraft carrier from back in the days, now it is a museum on water. It was also featured in a scene from that treasure hunter movie with Nicolas Cage where he jumped off the side into the harbor.
    You probably can't see it but there are tiny little people on board the ship's deck enjoying the fanfare along the riverside. Also George pointed out that it was moving at a uniform speed along with the small boats on the side, so that means it was being tugged.
