baby shower yesterday. my very first one.

bunch of hail with rain today. they were the size of small marbles but of course much lighter which is a good thing or else they would hurt.

I love it. You can't be FAT in Japan anymore. Hahahaaaa

no power for two days during this nutty heat wave. couldn't even sleep it felt like I was choking and kept waking up during the night sweatin to the oldies.

The best line is to my mom: "How did you wash those clothes without electricity?"
mom: "I washed it by hand."

Would you imagine that..it is how they did it in the old days, with a washing board.

I can't wait. Plans to surf for the first time ever on Sat, plus first ever baby shower. Isn't that something only for women? Well it turns out my "cousin" Nudy will try to make it into a man-party by adding alcohol and other things.

RIP bankrupted Borders. We'll miss you. Now we have no place to read during lunch.
